Has the patient had a gout flare in the last 6 months?
Is the patient at goal uric acid (less than 6.0 mg/dL)? If you want to enter values and dates for uric acids, you can do so below and we will make this determination for you.
Has the patient been at goal uric acid (less than 6.0 mg/dL) for 6 months or longer?
Is the patient on urate-lowering therapy (ULT)?
Is the patient just starting ULT (urate-lowering therapy) or has he or she started ULT in the last 3 months? If you aren't sure whether the patient should start ULT, leave as 'No' and you can use a Ult to help you decide later.
Is the patient on anti-inflammatories for gout flare prevention (prophylaxis)?
